Vernon RibFest 2023:

The Vernon RibFest Society has become an important festival in our community and this year …with your support… we are holding the Vernon RibFest 2023.

The Vernon Ribfest is a nonprofit organization and raises funds toward covering the costs of the festival as well as providing fundraising opportunities to other non-profits.  This year the O’Keefe Historical Ranch will raise funds by collecting gate donations.

The Vernon RibFest provides a fun way to contribute to our community and it isn’t possible without volunteers.

This letter of invitation is to give you an overview of the Volunteer opportunities. The Vernon RibFest is a family-oriented festival with something for everyone. The festival boasts a community sized BBQ, fantastic fare food options, Classic Rock and Country Bands with live performances on the ‘Entertainment Stage’, Adult Beverage Tent, Kids Entertainers, games and activities, Media BBQ Contest, and other unique attractions to enjoy!

What’s a Ribber? A Ribber is a type of chef that specializes in preparing grilled foods. A Ribber most often works with meat, his or her job can also involve working with a wide variety other foods and vegetables. A ribber’s job requires highly specialized culinary training.
